HBO has announced the final and the eighth season of the popular series Game of Thrones and fans are desperate to know what’s in store for them. There have been numerous fan theories and speculations that have been doing the rounds. Now, Emilia Clarke who plays the role of Daenerys Targaryen in the HBO series has hinted that the final season will throw something big. Recently, during the red carpet of the Academy Awards 2019, Emilia was asked about the final season of the show.
The actress told an entertainment portal about the eighth and final season of GOT, “It’s going to be huge, that much everyone needs to know. It took us a long time to film this one for a very good reason. But I think there’s going to be some things... I know there’s going to be some things in this last season that will shock people.”

On Monday, HBO also shared a short video of its upcoming series and films in which Game of Thrones also featured. The video clip showed Arya Stark’s delightful expression on seeing a dragon flying overhead for the first time. David Benioff and DB Weiss, as well as David Nutter and Miguel Sapochnik have directed the forthcoming season’s six episodes. The episodes have been written by Benioff, Weiss, Bryan Cogman and Dave Hill. Game of Thrones is an adaptation of A Song of Ice and Fire, George R. R. Martin's series of fantasy novels.
