The 2020 Screen Actors Guild Awards was held on Sunday night at LA’s Shrine Auditorium and the night saw a dozen SAG statues handed out in honour of films and television. Joaquin Phoenix was named best actor for Joker, while Renée Zellweger was awarded as best actress for Judy. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood's Brad Pitt and Marriage Story's Laura Dern won for best supporting actor and actress, respectively.
In the drama series, The Crown's cast won the award for best ensemble. On the other hand, Jennifer Aniston took the best actress honour for The Morning Show and Peter Dinklage was named best actor for Game of Thrones. Apart from that, Leonardo DiCaprio also presented The Irishman star Robert De Niro with the 2020 SAG Life Achievement Award
