Reports of Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik expecting their first child together did the rounds on Wednesday. The supermodel who celebrated her 25th birthday on April 23, is said to be 20 weeks along in her pregnancy. Confirming the news of her pregnancy, Gigi, during a virtual conversation on Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, told that the couple is very excited and grateful to their well-wishers for their support. She further added that she is making the most of the time at home during the lockdown to experience every stage of pregnancy.
"Obviously, you know, we wish we could’ve announced it on our own terms, but we’re very excited and happy and grateful for everyone’s well wishes and support. I’m trying to be present for every part of it. Especially during this time, it’s a nice silver lining to be able to be home and together and really experience it," Gigi told.
Gigi's mother Yolanda Hadid, in an interview with a Dutch publication, told that she is very excited to become a grandmother in September. "Of course, we are so excited. I'm excited to become an Oma in September especially after I lost my mom so recently. But this is the beauty of life: One soul leaves us and a new one comes in. We feel very blessed," Yolanda told.
Gigi and Zayn rekindled their relationship earlier this year after a year-long break. The couple who began dating each other in 2015, is currently at Gigi's Pennsylvania farm with her sister Bella.
