After much wait, the long-discussed and debated version of Justice League directed by Zack Snyder will debut on HBO in 2021. With this, the movement started by fans named 'Release The Snyder Cut' in opposition to the theatrical version that was reshot by filmed by Joss Whedon after Zack stepped down owing to a personal problem, emerged victorious. Talking about the Snyder cut, Zack, dropped in a hint that the HBO version will be an entirely new thing and what the audience saw in the theatres was just one forth of his vision.
"It will be an entirely new thing, and, especially talking to those who have seen the released movie, a new experience apart from that movie. You probably saw one-fourth of what I did," Zack told.

Zack, further added that he felt 20 years down the lane, he would lend the footages for a documentary that shows snippets of the unreleased cut. "I always thought it was a thing that in 20 years, maybe somebody would do a documentary and I could lend them the footage, little snippets of a cut no one has ever seen," he said. In response to this, Zack's wife Deborah Snyder, who is also the producing partner, added, "With the new platform and streaming services, you can have something like this. You can’t release something like this theatrically, but you could with a streaming service. It’s an opportunity that wasn’t there two years ago, to be honest."
Although, it is now clear that Zack's version of Justice League will release in 2021, the mystery regarding whether it will be in form of a four-hour-long film or divided into six chapters. Synder's cut of Justice League is estimated to cost $20 to $30 million. He will rework on the score, visual effects and might even record additional dialogues from the actors.
