Shekhar Kapur starts prep for his next directorial with Emma Thompson

Shekhar Kapur has started preparing for his upcoming cross-cultural rom-com featuring Emma Thompson. Titled What's Love Got To Do With It?, the film deals with love and marriage and is set in London and South Asia. He took to Twitter to make the announcement.

The film also stars Lily James and Shazad Latif, and will be written and produced by Jemima Khan.

Joey King reveals ‘The Kissing Booth 3’ to premiere in summer 2021

The Kissing Booth star Joey King revealed that the third season of the film sranchise will arrive in the summer of 2021. King, who won Comedy Movie Star of the year at the 2020 People's Choice Awards, shared the news during her acceptance speech. The second film in the popular teen rom-com series also stars Joel Courtney and Jacob Elordi and premiered on Netflix in July.

Parts two and three of the film were shot at the same time in South Africa. King earlier revealed the third film of the series would release next year in a special fan event, along with the fact that the entire cast would be returning in the sequel.

Manoj Night Shyamalan’s ‘Servant Season2’ to premiere on AppleTV+ on January 15

Apple has shared a teaser trailer for the second season of M. Night Shyamalan-directed Servant TV show which is set to be released on January 15. The 68-second teaser concentrates on establishing the main story of the series, as shown through the experiences of each of its main characters. That includes Nell Tiger Free, who returns as Leanne Grayson, reports Apple Insider. 

Servant was created by British television writer Tony Basgallop. The first season of Servant was released in November 2019, however filming for season 2 was hampered by the Covid-19 pandemic. The show stars Lauren Ambrose, Nell Tiger Free, Rupert Grint and Toby Kebbell.

Steven Spielberg’s and Reliance Entertainment’s horror film ‘Come Play’ to release in India on Nov 27

The Gillian Jacobs, John Gallagher Jr., Azhy Robertson, and Winslow Fegley-starrer horror movie Come Play will release in India on November 27. The film follows two parents as they attempt to protect their young son from getting abducted by a villainous humanoid creature.

Newcomer Robertson stars as Oliver, a lonely young boy who feels different from everyone else. Desperate for a friend, he seeks solace in his phone and tablet. It is then a mysterious creature uses Oliver's devices to enter the world, following which Oliver's parents (Gillian and Gallagher Jr.) must fight to save their son from the monster. Directed by Jacob Chase, Come Play is from the house of Steven Spielberg's Amblin Partners and Reliance Entertainment.
