Zack Snyder’s ‘Justice League’ trailer has more Darkseid and Superman footage as the superheroes go ‘Hallelujah’ against the antagonist

The latest trailer for Zack Snyder’s Justice League reveals more looks at Darkseid, Superman and Wonder Woman. Ever since the theatrical cut of Justice League was unveiled three years ago, fans have been demanding to see director Snyder’s original version of the film and trashed Joss Whedon’s work as the former departed midway through production citing personal loss. After years of campaigning, Snyder finally confirmed his Justice League will debut on HBO Max in 2021.

He has been teasing his fans with various images, story details and Superman’s black costume since the start of this year. However, he could not share any footage. The first trailer that was released at DC FanDome in August was removed due to a music rights issue, but the new trailer released today is similar to what was previously shared. Snyder released the trailer of Justice League on his Vero account.

The trailer has almost the same footage that came out earlier but it has some added scenes as well. Snyder’s original music choice Hallelujah remains intact and lends more impact to it. The added scenes have more of Darkseid and Superman. Ben Affleck’s Batman mouthing the dialogue, “I don’t care how many demons he’s fought in how many hells, he’s never fought us. Not Us, United,” is retained from the theatrical cut. Cyborg also gets more screen space and so does Amber Heard’s Mera.

Justice League stars Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Ezra Miller, Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Ray Fisher, Amy Adams, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, and J. K. Simmons. The trailer does not offer a release date and merely says ‘2021’.
