Dynamite News! McDonald’s to rollout a special meal featuring your favourite K-Pop group BTS!

The popular fast food chain McDonald’s announced on Monday morning that it will launch a special menu item with K-Pop music group BTS on May 26. The special menu item follows similar campaigns with rapper Travis Scott and J Balvin. The special ‘BTS Meal’ campaign is global and the rollout includes India in the list of countries for the special McDonalds meal.

This one-of-a-kind menu “tour” will arrive in India in Delhi and Mumbai on June 1 and June 4, 2021, respectively. The BTS Meal includes a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets®, medium World Famous Fries®, medium Coca-Cola, and Sweet Chili and Cajun dipping sauces inspired by popular recipes from McDonald’s South Korea. The branded meal and if the past campaigns are any indication, it will translate into big paydays for both parties.

“The band has great memories with McDonald’s. We’re excited about this collaboration and can’t wait to share the BTS Meal with the world,” says BTS' parent company BIGHIT MUSIC.

The BTS meal will roll out in 49 countries and territories, from Hong Kong to Honduras, according to the announcement, which made no mention of a merchandise line. But given the size of the launch, it seems unlikely the campaign will begin and end with McNuggets.
