Marvel Studios announced its phase IV in 2019. Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow is a part of the phase. The film will showcase the relationship and camaraderie shared by Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) and Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett). Black Widow will release in theatres and on Disney+ Premiere on July 9. Recently, at the MTV Movie & TV Awards 2021, a new clip from Black Widow was shown.
In the promo. Natasha and Yelena are navigating through traffic to escape a biker. It seems the clip is a part of a larger action sequence. Sharing the promo, Marvel Studios wrote, "Just two sisters bonding during a high-speed chase Check out this brand-new clip from Marvel Studios' @Black.Widow, and experience it in theatres or on @DisneyPlus with Premier Access on July 9."
As per reports, Black Widow will take place in the two years between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War when the teams reunited to try to defeat Thanos. The film is directed by Cate Shortland.
