The DC extended universe has got new updates to regale its fans. The DC League of Superpets and Batwoman have some exciting new footage up their sleeves. Read on for further details.
Kevin Hart, Keanu Reeves, Kate McKinnon, Vanessa Bayer, John Krasinski & more join Dwayne Johnson in ‘DC League Of Super-Pets’
Dwayne Johnson took to Instagram to unveil the voice-over cast for the upcoming animated DC film DC League of Super-Pets. Along with Dwayne who will be voicing Krypto, Superman’s dog, he will be joined by Kevin Hart, Keanu Reeves, Kate McKinnon, Vanessa Bayer, John Krasinski, Diego Luna and Natasha Lyonne. None of their roles were disclosed, except that Hart will be the voice of Ace. The film is written and directed by Jared Stern and is slated to release on May 20, 2022.
Sharing a small glimpse at DC League Of Super-Pets, Dwayne wrote, “Ladies, gents and children of ALL AGES it’s my absolute pleasure to INTRODUCE our star studded @DCLeagueOfSuperPets cast playing our league of two and four-legged heroes and villains! CW’s ‘Batwoman’ reveals first look at Camrus Johnson as Batwing
The CW and Warner Bros.TV dropped the first-look photos of Camrus Johnson as Batwing from Batwoman. Johnson has played the character of Luke Fox on the DC series since it began. He will take on the role of Batwing and partner Batwoman (Javicia Leslie) as her crime-fighting counterpart. The CW shared Johnson’s take on playing Batwing and wrote, “Honestly, it’s hard to explain how much it means to me to wear the Batwing suit and officially play my first superhero. The main reason I wanted to be in Batwoman was for this opportunity – to give kids like me another black hero to look up to and relate to. It’s hard not to smile when I catch myself in the mirror with the bat symbol on my chest, and I’ll keep smiling through every fight scene, every awesome stunt, and every Gotham night where Batwing is finally in the field!”
The Batwing suit was conceptualized by Batwoman costume designer Maya Mani with assistance from Diana Patterson and illustrator Andy Poon. The suit was created by Ocean Drive Leather and the helmet was sculpted by James Fairley at Amazing Ape.
