Ryan Reynolds’ sci-fi action-comedy Free Guy got a new trailer and poster today that gives a fresh look at this zero-to-hero transformation. The film follows Ryan’s character, Guy, as he learns that he is just a background character in a violent open-world video game called Free City.
The trailer shows the grim scenario where the game is about to be shut down by Taika Waititi’s villainous video game publisher, but Ryan’s Guy decides to save his world with the help of Jodie Comer's Molotov Girl. Now in a world where there are no limits, he is determined to be the guy who saves his world his way…before it is too late
