House Of Gucci, a biographical crime film, orbits around the murder of Maurizio Gucci orchestrated by his wife, Patrizia Reggiani. She spent 18 years in prison and was dubbed as the real-life 'Black Widow'. She was released in 2016. Apart from the murder, House Of Gucci will shed light on the couple's marriage. In the trailer, Lady Gaga as Patrizia said words like: 'Money', 'Family', 'Power', 'Betrayal', 'Sex', 'Loyalty', 'Scandal', 'Ambition' and 'Murder'.
House Of Gucci also stars Salma Hayek, Jack Huston, Reeve Carney, Camille Cottin, Mdlina Diana Ghenea, Mehdi Nebbou and Miloud Mourad Benamara.
In April this year, the Gucci family slammed the film. Patrizia Gucci, one of Maurizio’s second cousins, told a news agency in a statement, "We are truly disappointed. I speak on behalf of the family. They are stealing the identity of a family to make a profit, to increase the income of the Hollywood system…Our family has an identity, privacy. We can talk about everything, but there is a borderline that cannot be crossed."
