MGM has unveiled the latest trailer for The Addams Family 2 offering a new sneak peek at the titular family’s doomed, spooky vacation. The trailer shows Morticia and Gomez Addams reeling under the usual parental trope of feeling alienated from their children who are growing up too fast and distancing themselves from the family wrapped up in their own world.
In an effort to re-establish their bond, Gomez hits upon the novel idea of going on a family vacation across the country with Wednesday, Pugsley, Uncle Fester and their iconic cousin It. The Addams Family 2 stars Oscar Isaac, Charlize Theron, Chloë Grace Moretz, Nick Kroll, Javon “Wanna” Walton, Wallace Shawn, with Snoop Dogg as “IT” with Bette Midler and Bill Hader. Incidents from the family’s mysterious past also resurfaces including an old villain.

The film is directed by Greg Tiernan and Conrad Vernon and written by Matt Lieberman. The Addams Family 2 are based on the characters originally created by American cartoonist Charles Addams back in 1938. The new animated film will also serve as a direct sequel to the 2019 film, The Addams Family.
The film is slated to release in theatres on October 1 and also for online rental on the same day in both the US and Canada.
