Indian-American comedienne and talk show host Lilly Singh hosted her first Diwali party for her friends in Los Angeles. Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Mindy Kaling, Poorna Jagannathan, Deepica Mutyala, Radhi Devlukia-Shetty and many others were present. Lilly's close friend Priyanka drew inspiration from yesteryear actress Zeenat Aman and her outfit is an indication. In a printed Sabyasachi outfit, Priyanka brought back retro vibes to Lilly's first Diwali paty.
Sharing pictures, Priyanka wrote, "What makes Lilly SINGH the perfect host and dost? She’s a fellow PUNJABI. What an epic end to this year’s Diwali celebrations! Thank you @lilly for such an amazing evening!"
Lilly shared some pictures from the Diwali bash. Her caption read: "Last night was a movie. Love & Light with the Desi squad. Honoured to be surrounded by such incredible people. And then get lit with them. And then wild out with them. And then have senti talks with them. And then watch them WIN. I’m going to have to make this an annual thing."
Canadian singer Tesher a.k.a Hitesh Sharma, known for his singles like Jalebi Baby, made the guests dance to his songs. In a viral video, Lilly can be seen dancing to Jalebi Baby. The host let her hair down as she grooved to live music at the party.
