Priyanka Chopra Jonas' character in the upcoming The Matrix Resurrections is wrapped in an enigma. The fourth chapter of the popular sci-fi film franchise is headlined by Keanu Reeves and will release globally in December. After going missing from the recently unveiled poster of The Matrix Resurrections, Priyanka shared the first poster featuring her character.
In the poster, Priyanka can be seen dressed in a printed jacket, loose pants and knee-high boots. Her unique hairstyle has caught attention too. Sharing the poster, Priyanka wrote, "And she’s here. Re-enter #TheMatrix 12.22.21"
Though Priyanka didn't feature in the main poster of The Matrix Resurrections, her appearance in the trailer created much hype. She piqued the interest of the fans with her brief appearance and people came up with theories that she might be playing the role of the grown-up Sati in the fourth installment of The Matrix.
Directed by Lana Wachowski, The Matrix Resurrections also stars Carrie-Anne Moss, Jada Pinkett Smith and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.
