Chris Evans is all set to feature alongside Dwayne Johnson in Amazon Studios’ upcoming holiday film Red One. As per an online portal, the project is based on an original story by Hiram Garcia, president of production at Seven Bucks Productions. The film will go on floors some time this year.
The film is said to be a “a globe-trotting, four-quadrant action-adventure comedy, imagining a whole new universe to explore within the holiday genre,” but plot details are strictly under wraps. Red One will be directed by Jake Kasdan from a script penned by Chris Morgan.

Dwayne is also producing the film alongside Hiram and Dany Garcia on behalf of Seven Bucks Productions. Kasdan is also a co-producer on the film and will produce via his banner, The Detective Agency, alongside Melvin Mar and co-producer Sky Salem Robinson.
The film is slated for a 2023 holiday release.
