Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore – 18 character posters unveiled including Jude Law, Eddie Redmayne, Mads Mikkelsen & more a day prior to trailer release

The highly-anticipated upcoming film Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore from the Harry Potter spin-off universe, Fantastic Beasts has dropped character posters ahead of its brand new trailer release tomorrow. Warner Bros. and Wizarding World have chosen to unveil a slew of character posters featuring the cast of characters that will be returning to JK Rowling’s fictional Wizarding World. From Jude Law’s Albus Dumbledore to Eddie Redmayne’s Newt Scamander to Mads Mikkelsen’s Gellert Grindelwald, the character posters definitely increase the excitement.

The posters were released in a series, the first of which depicts ‘Dumbledore’s first army’, referencing to the DA from the original Harry Potter films. Besides Law and Redmayne, the posters included Teddy the Niffler, Dan Fogler as Jacob Kowalski, Picket the Bowtruckle, Jessica Williams as Lally Hicks, Callum Turner as Theseus Scamander, Victoria Yeates as Bunty, William Nadylam as Yusuf Kama, and Richard Coyle as the brother of Albus, Aberforth Dumbledore. However, many wondered where is Katherine Waterston's poster as Tina Goldstein.

The next wave included Grindelwald and his followers, Ezra Miller as Credence Barebone / Aurelius Dumbledore, Alison Sudol as Queenie, Poppy Corby-Tuech as Vinda Rosier, and newcomers Aleksandr Kuznetsov as Helmut Weiss and Mikkelsen as Grindelwald who takes on the role in this third instalment from Johnny Depp.

The last unveil showed some global wizards as they take sides in this epic battle. Oliver Masucci as Anton Vogel, Maria Fernanda Cândido as Vicência Santos, and Dave Wong as Liu Tao join the battle. David Yates, who directed the final four Harry Potter films and the previous two Fantastic Beasts movies is returning to helm the third instalment as well. JK Rowling and Steve Kloves have written the screenplay.

The trailer of Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore will be unveiled tomorrow on February 24. The film is slated to release on April 15, 2022.
