The Critics Choice Awards held on Sunday night saw a bevy of stars getting applauded and honoured for their impeccable performances and work in the past year. Will Smith, Ariana DeBose and Troy Kotsur all won their second prizes of the day after winning the BAFTA awards in London. Jane Campion once again took home the Best Director award for The Power of the Dog, while Smith got Best Actor for King Richard, Ariana DeBose got Best Supporting Actress for West Side Story. The Power of the Dog also won the Best Film.
Jessica Chastain won Best Actress for The Eyes of Tammy Faye while Kate Winslet bagged the Best Actress in a Limited Series for Mare of Easttown. Belfast cast won the best acting ensemble award while writer-director Kenneth Branagh also won the best original screenplay prize.
