Brian Cox, Edie Falco, Lisa Kudrow and Dean Norris have been cast in The Parenting, an ensemble poltergeist comedy from New Line and HBO Max. The film is being directed by Craig Johnson and will go on floors later in March in Massachusetts. The production is being produced by Chris Bender and Jake Weiner of Good Fear Content.
The script has been penned by Kent Sublette and revolves around a young gay couple, Graham and Josh, who host a meeting of their parents at a rental house in the country. However, things take on a horrifically comical route when they find that it is already inhabited by a 400-year-old evil poltergeist.
Cox and Falco play a couple whereas Norris and Kudrow play the different set of parents. The release date for the feature is yet to be announced.
