Though she is yet to take home a trophy, Priyanka Chopra Jonas has been associated with Oscars in different ways for several years now. Once again, this year the actress is a part of the prestigious awards ceremony. The global star was roped in to host a pre-Oscars event to celebrate South Asian excellence.
Along with Priyanka, Mindy Kaling, Kumail Nanjiani, producer Shruti Ganguly and entrepreneurs like Anjula Acharia, Bela Bajaria, Maneesh K. Goya were a part of the hosting crew. The event was held on Wednesday in Beverly Hills. For the event, Priyanka wore a black saree and paired it with a strapless blouse. Pictures and videos of the actress went viral on fan clubs.
Oscars 2022 will be hosted by Amy Schumer, Regina Hall and Wanda Sykes. It is scheduled to take place on March 27 at Hollywood's Dolby Theatre.
