Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness: Charlize Theron introduces her character Clea from Benedict Cumberbatch’s film; confirms her Marvel superhero role

After making her Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) debut in Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness post-credit scenes, Charlize Theron took to social media today to give a closer look at her onscreen character, Clea. She shared a close-up of herself in her on-screen character’s avatar.

Taking to social media, she dropped a closeup look of her one-screen avatar featuring a bold purple eye makeup and wrote, “Meet Clea.” The next picture features a still from the recently released film and shows Charlize in her superhero suit along with Benedict as Dr Strange.

Her revelations got fans hyper-excited and they went on to praise the actress in the comments section. While one user wrote, "Purple looks so good on you", another said, "Wow, your eyes are so beautiful". Purple heart emojis ruled the comments section.

Clea appears in mid-credits scene in Doctor Strange 2 and remained unnamed in the film. However, many fans recognized her character due to her purple costume. In the comics, Clea is Strange’s apprentice and eventual love interest.

Besides Benedict, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness also stars Elizabeh Olsen, Benedict Wong, Rachel McAdams, Xochiti Gomez and others. It is directed by Sam Raimi and is going a roaring business at Indian box office after being released on May 6.
