Prince Harry and Meghan Markle hosted a party to celebrate their daughter Lilibet "Lili" Diana Mountbatten-Windsor's first birthday. She was born to the couple on June 4, 2021. Now, finally, the first picture of Lilibet has been released by Prince Harry and Meghan.
In the picture, Lilibet can be seen celebrating her 1st birthday in a light blue frock and white bow on her head. The pictures were shared by Prince Harry and Meghan's close family friend Misan Harriman. As per reports, Lilibet's first birthday cake was created by American baker Claire Ptak, who also curated the wedding cake for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in 2018.
Soon after Lilibet's birth, the couple issued a statement and revealed the idea behind her name. "Lili is named after her great-grandmother, Her Majesty The Queen, whose family nickname is Lilibet. Her middle name, Diana, was chosen to honor her beloved late grandmother, The Princess of Wales," the statement read.
Prince Harry and Meghan welcomed their first child, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, in May 2019.
