Dwayne Johnson drops first official poster for Black Adam ahead of trailer release

The trailer of the highly-anticipated DC film Black Adam starring Dwayne Johnson as the titular superhero will drop on June 8, 2022. Johnson has been preparing to unleash his anti-hero, Black Adam on the world for some time now, and he made the announcement of the trailer drop with the release of the first official poster from the film to appease his fans.

Besides a teaser that was released previously, this will be the first proper trailer for Black Adam. Black Adam is an anti-hero from the stables of DC Comics and while he is an enemy of Shazam, this upcoming film does not feature the character played by Zachary Levi. However, here Johnson will be matching his fighting skill set against Justice Society of America.

Black Adam also stars Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Qunetessa Swindell as Cyclone, Sarah Shahi as Adrianna Tomaz, Marwan Kenzari, James Cusati-Moyer and Bodhi Sabongui in unknown roles and Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate.

Black Adam has been in development since 2017. The film will release in theatres on October 21, 2022.
