Britney Spears and Sam Asghari officially got married on June 9, 2022. The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Los Angeles. The ceremony was attended by nearly 60 guests including their close friends from the industry such as Paris Hilton, Madonna and more.
As per media reports, Britney wore a wedding gown designed by Versace and walked down the aisle while Elvis Presley’s Can’t Help Falling in Love With You played in the background. Sam and Britney got engaged last year after her conservatorship of 13 years was ended by the court. They had dated for nearly six years after they met on the sets of Britney’s 2016 music video Slumber Party before tying the knot. Britney had later revealed in 2017 that she and Sam took nearly “five months” to reconnect after filming the video shoot.
Britney’s wedding was not attended by her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James whom she shares with her ex Kevin Federline. Their wedding took a dramatic turn when the singer’s first husband Jason Alexander attempted to crash the wedding and was subsequently arrested by the police.
Britney and Sam had announced their pregnancy earlier in the year but later the singer announced that she suffered a miscarriage.
