Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam to arrive a day early in Indian theatres than its global release

Dwayne Johnson’s much-awaited DC comics film Black Adam is all set to debut in Indian theatres on October 20, a day earlier than its global release. Warner Bros India shared the news today on social media bringing much cheer to the Indian fans. Black Adam will release in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on October 20 instead of October 21.

Taking to social media, Warner Bros. tweeted, “Brace yourselves because #BlackAdam is arriving one day early! Watch ‘Black Adam’ in cinemas in India from October 20 onwards in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.”

Black Adam is the first film depicting the anti-hero Black Adam in the lead role, played by Johnson. The character first appeared in DC Comics in the 1940s as a villain corrupted by power but becomes an anti-hero in the early 2000s.

Black Adam also stars Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone, and Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Fate. The movie is written by Adam Sztykiel, Rory Haines, and Sohrab Noshirvani and directed by Jaume Collet-Serra.
