There's no Hogwarts without you, Hagrid! Harry Potter actor Robbie Coltrane breathes his last at the age of 72

This is no happy news for Potterheads. Renowned Scottish actor Robbie Coltrane, who immortalised the character of Hagrid in the Harry Potter franchise, breathed his last at the age of 72 on Friday. The news was confirmed by his agent Belinda Wright. However, she didn't mention the reason behind it.

In a statement to a media agency, Wright said, "As well as being a wonderful actor, he was forensically intelligent, brilliantly witty and after 40 years of being proud to be called his agent, I shall miss him." Robbie is survived by his sister Annie Rae, his ex-wife Rhona Gemmell and his children Spencer and Alice.
