‘I’m not dead,’ says Britney Spears reacting to Millie Bobby Brown’s wish of essaying the singer’s role in her biopic

Britney Spears is not only clapping back at her family but this time around has spoken against Millie Bobby Brown’s wish of portraying her in a biopic. Stranger Things and Enola Holmes star Millie appeared as a guest on Drew Barrymore’s chat show The Drew Barrymore Show, where she said that she would like to play the role of the singer in her biopic. She said, “I want to play a real person and I think for me, Britney. It would be Britney Spears. I think her story, first of all, resonates with me.” However, Britney was not very keen on the idea and hit back with a cryptic post claiming “I’m not dead.”

While appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show, Millie had said, "Just growing up in the public eye, watching her videos, watching interviews of her when she was younger. I mean, same thing with you. I see the scramble for words and I don't know her, but when I look at pictures of her, I feel like I could tell her story in the right way and hers only."

However, Britney was not impressed by Millie’s interest in her life and shared a post that read, “Good news, good news !!! Still breathing … it’s funny the same two people who gave me life are the same exact 2 people who took it away … but guess what !!! I’m alive and I’m breathing again !!! Yeah I know I’ve posted too much this week on Instagram… kinda fun though !!! Now that I’m breathing … I have time … it’s different !!! I like it !!! I hear about people wanting to do movies about my life … dude I’m not dead !!! Although it’s pretty fucking clear they preferred me dead… I guess my family is going to lock their doors now!!! Either way … I just want to say hi and share these fabulous doors!!! I did kinda post too much this week … I’m embarrassed !!! I get it … oh well !!! Have a good day !!!”

Britney has been pretty vocal and scathing about her family and other people trying to make money on her pretext after her 13-year-long conservatorship ended last year in November. She recently got married to Sam Asghari as well. On the other hand, Millie was last seen in Netflix film Enola Holmes 2 in the titular role alongside Henry Cavill (who played Sherlock Holmes) and Helena Bonham Carter. She was also seen as Eleven in Stranger Things which brought her in the limelight and is her best-known role.
