Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet and James Cameron’s Titanic returns to theatres for 25th anniversary in 3D, poster and trailer unveiled ahead of re-release

We will never get over James Cameron’s Titanic, and that is a fact that cannot be denied. The film starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet in the lead remains one of the most popular and most loved films of all times. Now, in order to celebrate its 25th anniversary the film will be re-released in the theatres for a limited run on February 10. Ahead of its release, a new poster and trailer featuring our beloved Jack Dawson (Leonardo) and Rose DeWitt Bukater (Kate) as star-crossed lovers were revealed on social media and lit up the internet.

Sharing the new poster and trailer on social media, Paramount Pictures wrote, "Titanic returns to the big screen in 4K 3D for a limited time on February 10 (sic).

The iconic film, which clocks in at 3 hours and 15 minutes and won a record 11 Academy Awards in 1998, will be screened in 3D 4K HDR with high-frame rate. Titanic weaves an intricate and heart wrenching love story set aboard the doomed RMS Titanic that sank in the early hours of April 15, 1912 in the North Atlantic Ocean four days into her maiden voyage from Southampton to New York City after hitting an iceberg.

James Cameron directed Titanic held the No.1 box-office spot for 15 straight weeks and became the the highest-grossing movie of all time, ultimately earning $2.2 billion worldwide — a record it held until Cameron's 2009 film Avatar came along to dethrone it.
