Julia Roberts and Jennifer Aniston will be coming together for a body-swap comedy from filmmaker Max Barbakow. Barbakow will write and direct the film. Amazon Studios won a heated auction among four other studios and streamers for the comedy film.
The film is backed by Margot Robbie’s LuckyChap Entertainment, Tom Ackerley and Josey McNamara, will produce alongside Julia and her Red Om Films banner, Jennifer’s Echo Films and Barkabow. Red Om’s Lisa Gillan and Marisa Yeres Gill will also be involved in a producorial capacity.
There are hardly any details out about the project, the film’s title has also not been announced till now. However, it is reported that the comedy is based on Barbakow’s original pitch.
Reportedly, both Julia and Jennifer will receive a hefty pay packet for the film, counting salary and backend buyout making them highest paid actresses.
