The Oscars are finally here! The 95th Academy Awards were announced today (early hours in India, Sunday night in LA) at the iconic Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood. Months of precursor chaos and pundit predictions led to the telecast with Everything Everywhere All at Once taking the top honours as Best Picture and Best Actress for Michelle Yeoh and Best Support Actor for Ke Huy Quan. SS Rajamouli, Ram Charan and Jr.NTR were euphoric as RRR’s Naatu Naatu won in the Best Original Song category for MM.Keeravani and lyricist Chandrabose; Guneet Monga and Kartiki Gonsalves were in happy tears as their film The Elephant Whisperers won the Best Documentary Short Film Award.

Winners and nominees were not the only ones who made waves at the Oscars 2023. Deepika Padukone made everyone proud by being one of the presenters at the awards ceremony. Singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava weaved their magic at the Oscars stage by giving a scintillating performance to Naatu Naatu. Still, it was the night of the winners who took home the coveted golden statuette.
