Veteran television and film actress Rita Bhaduri passed away today in the wee hours of the morning. PeepingMoon had earlier reported that she was admitted at a hospital in Mumbai and was in the ICU for the past 10 days. She was 62 years old. Bhaduri has appeared as supporting actress in various Bollywood films during the 1970s, 80s, and 90s. The news of her death was confirmed by actor Shishir Sharma on Facebook.

Her last rite was held some time back and many TV actors attended it. Shishir Sharma, Satish Shah, Neelu Kohli, Abhay Bhargav, Jayaa Bhattacharya were present amongst the actress's family members.
