While the usual norm is for films to finally hit the big screens on a Friday, today was a little different. Not films but their much-anticipated trailer were finally launched. From controversial Batti Gul Meter Chalu to laughter riot Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se released their theatrical trailers today.

Shahid Kapoor, Yami Gautam, Shraddha Kapoor, Divyendu Sharma starrer Batti Gul Meter Chalu is directed by Shree Narayan Singh. After tackling hygiene in Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, the director takes on the issue of electricity in the larger society in this film. It courted many controversies with its former producer Prernaa Arora of KriArj Entertainment and was finally taken over my Bhushan Kumar of T-Series.

Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se is the third installment of the YPD franchise. The film stars Dharmendra, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Kriti Kharbanda in pivotal roles. On Dharam ji's request, Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha also agreed to do a special dance song for the film.
