President Ram Nath Kovind and President of Bulgaria Rumen Radev met the cast and crew of Brahmastra, including actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, and director Ayan Mukerji, at a studio in Sofia on September 5, where they are shooting for the film.

President Kovind is in Bulgaria currently as part of his three-day official visit to Europe. Pictures of team Brahmastra interacting with the presidents were made available on the official handle of the President Of India.

With Ranbir, Alia and the rest of the crew, President Radev and President Kovind discussed cinema as a business and its instrumental role in acting as a cultural link between the two countries. While Ranbir was casually dressed in a tee and denims, Alia looked pretty in a top and pants.

Karan Johar, who is producing the film, tweeted said that he is honoured.

Brahmastra is a fantasy adventure trilogy. Its first part is scheduled to release on Independence Day, August 15, 2019.

The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy.
