Nandita Das is all geared up for her next film on the brutally honest author Saadat Hassan Manto. The biopic Manto, featuring Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead, is slated to hit the theatres on September 21. Ahead of the film's release, a special screening was organized in the city and the who's who of Bollywood marked their presence as they arrived to show love to Manto.

Spotted at the screening were Nawazuddin, Nandita, Rasika Dugal and veteran actresses Shabana Azmi and Rekha.

Other celebs who made their way to the special screening included Jim Sarbh, Rahul Bose, Imtiaz Ali, Ali Fazal, Aahana Kumra. The stars posed happily for the shutterbugs.

Manto’s real-life daughters Nuzhat Arshad and Nusrat Jalal were also invited for the screening and their presence added to the charm.

Manto also stars Gurdaas Mann, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Rishi Kapoor and Divya Dutta in key roles.
