Ace filmmaker-producer Karan Johar turned 47 on May 25 this year and headed to New York for his birthday celebrations. He returned back to Mumbai on Tuesday and went to Ajay Devgn's and Kajol's house to pay his last respects as Veeru Devgan passed away on Monday. Later, in the night, Karan organised an intimate birthday dinner and it was attended by his close friends from the industry.

Clicked were lovebirds, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, along with their Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji.

Interestingly, our cameras also papped Sidharth Malhotra as he made his way to KJo's residence. Although ex-lovers Alia and Sidharth are rarely spotted under roof since their breakup, they certainly made an exception for their mentor, Karan. 

Last but not the least, Aarti Shetty was spotted too.
