Veteran music composer Mohammed Zahur Khayyam breathed his last on Monday in Mumbai after being admitted to Intensive Care Unit of Sujoy Hospital for a lung infection and pneumonia on July 28. The Padma Bhushan awardee was 92 years old. Soon after the news broke out, Bollywood celebrities flocked to pay their last respects to the deceased. Amongst several personalities, our shutterbugs clicked Gulzar, Sonu Nigam, Raza Murad and Alka Yagnik.
Gulzar was amongst the first ones to pay his last respects.

Sonu was seen interacting with those who were present at the venue.
Raza offered a condolence to the family.
Alka paid her last respects too.
Poonam Dhillon and Sanjay Khan were also clicked.
Khayyam began his career in music from the city of Ludhiana at the tender age of 17. He had given music for films like Kabhi Kabhie, Noorie, Razia Sultan, Umrao Jaan, Shola Aur Shabnam, Shagoon and several others. With his demise, an era of soulful music has come to a closure.
