The wait finally ends as Bollywood's beloved actor Rishi Kapoor returned home with his wife Neetu Kapoor from NYC on Monday night. Our shutterbugs clicked the actor couple at the airport as they were all smiles and elated to return home after a year. Twinning in black, Rishi and Neetu held each other's hand as they headed home. Rishi and Neetu were in the Big Apple for the former's cancer treatment and had jetted off for the same in September last year. Although it was in April this year that the nation got to know about the actor' medical condition and that is when he was pronounced cancer-free. 

Rishi, during his stay in NYC, frequently spoke about missing home and expressed his desire to return. The actor, in an interview, hinted at returning during Ganesh Chaturthi. “Celebrating Ganpati is a family tradition. So, I am hoping to be part of it,” he said. A few pictures of the couple at the NYC airport went viral on Rishi's birthday on September 4, indicating their return on the occasion but the actor's brother Randhir Kapoor confirmed their return and said they shall be home on Monday or Tuesday and holla, they are!
