When it comes to Ganesh Chaturthi, all that flashes before our eyes is the enchanting idol of the Wisdom Lord Ganesh. The festival, akin to the state of Maharashtra in particular, calls for several grand sarvajanik mandals that host a score of people round the clock. Amongst those several social mandals, one of the most popular and highly visited pandals is of Lalbaugcha Raja, situated in the heart of the city. With a plethora of celebrities flocking to seek blessings of Ganpati Bappa, the mandal witnesses several star-studded days before visarjan on Anant Chaturthi. The pandal on Wednesday was visited by Deepika Padukone who sought the blessings of Ganesh.
Dressed in an intricately printed pale peach, heavily embellished saree, Deepika was a sight to behold. She paired her exquisite saree with a powder blue blouse and rounded off her look with festive jewellery and did her hair into a neat bun.
Workwise, the actress will be seen in the lead role as Malti in Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak which will release on January 10, 2020. She will also star along with her actor husband Ranveer Singh in Kabir Khan directed ’83, which will open at theatres on April 10, 2020.
