The festival of joy and lights, Diwali, is one of the most sought after and anticipated ones throughout the year. Be it celebrating the festival with friends and family or bringing out the newly purchased outfits, those three-four days of the occasion hold a special important across each household in India, including Bollywood celebrities. Bollywood, as Diwali arrives, step outside to attend lavish parties hosted by their industry friends. On Sunday, Amitabh Bachchan held a Diwali bash at his residence which was attended by who's who of the tinsel town.

Our shutterbugs clicked the ever-gorgeous and elegant Sara Ali Khan at the bash. Dressed in bright red ethnic wear, the actress opted for a radiant festive look. For the party, Sara was accompanied by her mother Amrita Singh and brother Ibrahim Ali Khan. Twinning and winning, Sara and Amrita looked like a mirror reflection of each other.

In attendance at the party was Janhvi Kapoor, who looked ravishing as always. Flaunting her perfectly toned midriff, the actress opted for a heavily embellished warm gold lehenga with mirror detailing. With radiant makeup, she allowed her wavy tress to do the talking. Janhvi, before attending the Bachchans' bash, marked her presence at her uncle Anil Kapoor's Diwali party in a pristine white saree.

Kartik Aaryan, sporting his Chintu Tyagi from his upcoming film Pati, Patni Aur Woh, made a handsome appearance. Dapper in velvet kurta, the actor posed for the cameras before joining the Bachchans.

Ananya Panday added a pop of colour to the evening in a neon lehenga. Showing off her toned abs, the actress went all glam for the party, which she attended with her parents-Chunky Panday, Bhavana Pandey and sister Rysa Panday.
