On Saturday night, Dimple Kapadia's mother Betty Kapadia breathed her last at a suburban hospital in Mumbai. Soon after, Dimple's daughter Twinkle Khanna, son-in-law Akshay Kumar and nephew Karan Kapadia rushed to be by the family's side during the moment of grief. The last rites on late Mrs. Kapadia were performed on Sunday with the family in attendance. Our shutterbugs present at the venue clicked Sunny Deol. The actor offered his condolences to the Kapadia and Kumar family and paid his last respects.

Sunny recently collaborated with Betty's grandson Karan for his debut film Blank and featured Akshay in a special song.

Rishi Kapoor too met the family to offer his condolence.

Speaking of late Betty Kapadia, she passed away at the age of 80. A while ago, she was admitted to the hospital. For her 80th birthday this year, the family celebrated at a private resort in Shillim outside Mumbai with Dimple, Twinkle, Akshay and children Aarav and Nitara, and grandson Karan.
