Taapsee Pannu's thought-provoking film Thappad is all set to greet the audience at the theatres on Friday (February 28). The makers of this Anubhav Sinha directorial, on Wednesday, hosted a private screening for Bollywood at a suburban theatre.

In attendance at the screening was Ayushmann Khurrana with his wife Tahira Kashyap.

The actor who is currently riding high on the success of Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, seemed all elated as he posed for the cameras.

Dressed in casuals, Ayushmann looked dapper while Tahira was pretty in a brown dress teamed with a printed circular bag.

The couple clicked pictures with Anubhav at the screening. For the unversed, Ayushmann and Anubhav worked on the film Article 15 last year and as per reports, they will be teaming up yet again.

Rakul Preet Singh came in to cheer for the team of Thappad.

The actress, for the outing, opted for ripped jeans and a white top. She teamed it with popping rust coloured heels.

Rakul was all smiles for the cameras.

Bollywood's favourite lovebirds, Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa were also clicked at the screening.

Patralekhaa, for the do, opted for a neon orange crop top and baggy pants.

Rajkummar kept it simple in casuals.

Gauahar Khan was also at the event.

She went for pastel pink pants and a white crop top.

With subtle glam, Gauahar was good to go.

Pulkit Samrat and Kriti Kharbanda also marked their attendance.

The lovebirds were seen posing for the cameras happily.

Radhika Madan rooted for Thappad at its screening.

The actress who will be seen in the upcoming film Angrezi Medium, opted for multicoloured printed outfit. 

She rounded her look off with popping orange heels.

Isha Talwar cheered for her Article 15 director, Anubhav's film.

The actress was seen in a black outfit.

Posing for the cameras, Isha cut out an elegant and happy picture.

Aparshakti Khurana was present too.

Dressed in bright yellow pants and black tee, the actor looked dapper.

Thappad is produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series along with Anubhav and Benaras Mediaworks. It is scheduled to release on February 28, 2020.
