On August 11, the report of Sanjay Dutt diagnosed with lung cancer surfaced. The veteran Bollywood actor who was admitted to Lilavati Hospital due to breathlessness on August 8, issued a statement that he is taking a break from work for 'some medical treatment'. Devastated on learning about lung cancer which is in an advanced stage, Sanjay will reportedly travel to the US for treatment. Ahead of his travel post completing work commitments, the Munna Bhai MBBS actor was clicked outside Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital on Saturday.
Sanjay was accompanied by his sister, politician Priya Dutt. Dressed in a light blue kurta and white pyjama. Indicating that he shall be fine soon, the actor greeted the shutterbugs outside the hospital premise with a thumbs-up.
Workwise, Sanjay has films like Sadak 2, KGF: Chapter 2, Shamshera, Bhuj: The Pride Of India, Torbaaz and Prithviraj. Sadak 2 will premiere on Disney+Hotstar on August 28, 2020. The actor will reportedly dub for his portions before jetting off for his treatment. As per reports, Sanjay completed the shoot for Shamshera and Bhuj: The Pride Of India but is yet to dub.
Sanjay was last seen in Ashutosh Gowariker's Panipat co-starring Kriti Sanon and Arjun Kapoor.
