Bollywood celebrated Diwali with joy and fervour. Despite the COVID-19 scare, celebrities refused to allow the pandemic to play spoilsport. While lavish parties were missing, the tinsel town got a chance to bring in the festival of lights and new beginnings with family. From dressing up to performing Lakshmi Puja and enjoying a spread of Diwali delicacies, B-Town made the most of the festival.
Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor were snapped outside their father Boney Kapoor's office on Saturday evening.
The sisters returned to Mumbai a day before Diwali. The Kapoor family had jetted off to an undisclosed location to celebrated Khushi's 20th birthday.
For Diwali celebrations at Boney's office, Janhvi opted for a bright yellow Manish Malhotra saree. She teamed it up with statement earrings and looked classy in radiant glam.
Khushi wore a Manish Malhotra quilted sadri jacket and a trailing gharara.
She did her hair into a neat bun and rounded off her look with a choker.
In an interview, Janhvi spoke about how her mother late Sridevi imbibed the habit of wearing new and bright clothes on birthday and Diwali. "My mom would always say that on the day of Diwali, on New Year and our birthdays, we should wear something new and bright. I will definitely wear something new, and I will be dressing up after a really long time, so I am excited about it. We will do a small puja at home like we always do, and that will be our celebration," she said.
