Alia Bhatt was vacationing with her sister Shaheen Bhatt and BFFs Akansha Ranjan Kapoor and Anushka Ranjan in the Maldives over the weekend. However, sad news from her beau Ranbir Kapoor's family came in this afternoon. Ranbir's uncle, Rajiv Kapoor, passed away due to cardiac arrest. The funeral will take place today.
Hours after the news broke, Alia returned to Mumbai from the Maldives with Shaheen, Akansha and Anushka. The actress was spotted at the airport.
Ranbir along with his mother Neetu Kapoor, cousins Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Aadar Jain and Armaan Jain was at Rajiv's Chembur residence. Tara Sutaria also reached the residence to be with the family.
