Deepika Padukone enjoys a massive fan following. While the actress flashes a happy smile for pictures with fans, this time she was caught in an unsavoury situation when some people mobbed her outside a plush eatery on Thursday night. Deepika had stepped out for dinner with her friends. As she exited the eatery, she was greeted by a sea of fans who made it difficult for her to reach her car.
With a happy smile on her face, Deepika tried navigating through the crowd. She was trapped between a few women hawkers and paparazzi on the other hand. Amid this, a woman grabbed her red purse and Deepika, who is generally calm and composed, seemed slightly harassed. It is being said that a woman from the crowd snatched Deepika's bag in order to sell some packets of tissue napkins.

For the outing, Deepika wore black ripped jeans, a white crop top and a tie-and-dye jacket. But she missed wearing her mask. Instagram users called her out for not wearing a mask. People slammed the actress for violating BMC’s guideline that makes it compulsory for people to wear a mask when in public places in Mumbai. COVID-19 cases, in the last few days, are on a rise once again.
