Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray and Aaditya Thackeray visit Dilip Kumar's residence to offer condolences to Saira Banu, CMO confirms the actor's last rites will be performed with full state honour

Veteran actor Dilip Kumar passed away at the age of 98, leaving behind a legacy of films that spanned six decades.

Now, Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray and Aaditya Thackeray have visited Dilip Kumar's home to pay his last respects to Saira Banu. The CM also confirmed that the last rites of Dilip Sahab will be performed with full state honour.

Earlier, CM Uddhav Thackeray paid tribute to Dilip Kumar in a tweet in Marathi that translates to, "Enriching the Indian film industry, a shining star emerged from the silver lining. Dilip Kumar, who plays the role of Ajramar, will remain in the hearts of film lovers and fans forever. A heartfelt tribute to veteran actor Padma Vibhushan Dilip Kumar. - Chief Minister Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray"

Sharad Pawar, Member of Rajya Sabha, also arrived at Dilip Kumar's residence to offer condolences to Saira Banu.
