Lata Mangeshkar, known as India's own nightingale and melody queen, passed away this morning, leaving behind a void that can never be filled. The Bharat Ratna recipient was 92 years old and is survived by her siblings, Hridaynath Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Usha Mangeshkar and Meena Khadikar. The state funeral will be held at Dadar's Shivaji Park today evening. Dignitaries like Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray were among many others. 

Aamir Khan joined the Mangeshkars at Shivaji Park for the funeral. He was with his daughter Ira Khan.

Ranbir Kapoor reached the funeral ground to offer condolence.

Vidya Balan mourned the loss of Lata Didi and paid her last respects. She was with her husband Siddharth Roy Kapur.

Shankar Mahadevan was also seen at Shivaji Park.
