Alia Bhatt's Gangubai Kathiawadi directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been selected to be screened at the 72nd Berlin International Film Festival. The film co-starring Ajay Devgn, Vijay Raaz and Seema Pahwa will have its world premiere at the festival. It will be a part of Berlinale Special, a segment of the film festival which is dedicated to showcasing exemplary cinema. 

10 days before Gangubai Kathiawadi's release in India, Alia left for Berlin with her elder sister Shaheen Bhatt for the film's world premiere.

The actress wore white track pants and teamed it up with a turtleneck crop top.

Shaheen went all-black for the journey.

The Bhatt sisters posed for shutterbugs before jetting off to Berlin. 

Produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Dr Jayantilal Gada (Pen Studios), Gangubai Kathiawadi will release in theatres on February 25.
