Karan Johar hosts a starry birthday bash for Dharma CEO Apoorva Mehta; Kajol, Madhuri Dixit & Gauri Khan make an impressive entry

Karan Johar hosted a lavish birthday party for his Dharma Productions CEO and close friend Apoorva Mehta last night at a plush hotel in Mumbai. Apoorva, who is turned 50 yesterday, celebrated his big day with KJo and all his friends from the industry. Ace set designer Amrita Mahal, who is known for set designing of several Dharma films including Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani and Brahmastra, designed the theme of the starry birthday bash and we must say, she did her job pretty well. Attending the party were B-town celebs like Kajol, Madhuri Dixit Nene and Gauri Khan, among others.

Karan posed with Apoorva and his wife as they made their way to the bash.

KJo's BFF Kajol soon joined him and the duo posed for some beautiful photos together.

Madhuri arrived with her husband Sriram Nene and looked absolutely gorgeous as always.

Gauri also made an appearance sans Shah Rukh Khan in a black dress.

For the unversed, Apoorva has been working with Karan for Dharma Productions since 2005. Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna was the first film he worked on. Together, the duo has produced several blockbusters under the banner of Dharma Productions.
