The funeral of Krishnakumar Kunnath aka KK is taking place today. The mortal remains of the singer who passed away on Tuesday night, May 31, at Kolkata after performing in a concert will be cremated at the Versova Hindu Cemetery in Mumbai.

KK’s colleagues and friends including Vishal Bhardwaj, Rekha Bhardwaj, Kabir Khan, Armaan Malik, Papon, Rahul Vaidya, Javed Akhtar, Shankar Mahadevan, Sudesh Bhosle, Alka Yagnik and other celebs arrived to pay their last respects at the singer’s residence.

KK passed away due to a massive cardiac arrest after performing at Kolkata. He was accorded state honour and a gun salute by the Mamata Banerjee’s government in West Bengal.
