Akshay Kumar's Diwali treat to fans, Ram Setu, opened its account at the box office on Tuesday. The film co-starring Jacqueline Fernandez, Nushrratt Bharuccha and Satyadev, it is directed by Abhishek Sharma. Akshay, on Wednesday, paid a surprise visit to Mumbai's Gaiety Galaxy theatre to meet fans during the screening of Ram Setu. 

The superstar was at Gaiety Galaxy last evening with director Abhishek. Akshay looked dapper in white. He posed for the shutterbugs happily.

A huge crowd gathered at the venue when the superstar arrived. He addressed his fans inside the auditorium and thanked them for showering love on Ram Setu.

Ram Setu revolves around Aryan Kulshrestha, an atheist archaeologist, who is racing against time to prove the existence and origin of the pillar of India’s heritage. The film collected around Rs. 15 crores on its opening day at the box office. 

Ram Setu is presented by Prime Video in association with Cape of Good Films and Lyca Productions and is an Abundantia Entertainment Production. The film is produced by Aruna Bhatia (Cape of Good Films), Vikram Malhotra (Abundantia Entertainment), Subaskaran, Mahaveer Jain, and Aashish Singh (Lyca Productions) and Prime Video with Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi as the Creative Producer. Ram Setu is distributed worldwide in theatres by Zee Studios.
